On April 12th, 2012, we will celebrate our collective 20-year legacy with the people who make Breakthrough a great success – including you! Please join us for an unforgettable evening to honor our past and to launch our future.
Since 1992 we have transformed over 1750 lives! 100% of our graduating seniors matriculate at four-year colleges and over 70% of our teachers enter careers in education. Support the 20th Anniversary Gala to create many more paths to college and careers in education.
With your help, the Gala will raise $250,000 to ensure future breakthroughs. We hope to see you there, when we announce exciting plans for the coming decade!

Keynote
Angela Lee Duckworth, co-founder of Breakthrough Cambridge
1992 “Angie” was a senior at Harvard College when she founded Summerbridge Cambridge, which was renamed Breakthrough Cambridge in 2008.
Today Dr. Duckworth is Assistant Professor of Psychology at the University of Pennsylvania. She is nationally recognized for her work on “grit” and the psychology of achievement.
